COMPETITOR LIST

ON DECK SYSTEM

ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE IN THE BALLROOM AND CHECK IN WITH THE ON DECK CAPTAIN 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START OF THE SESSION IN WHICH THEY ARE COMPETING, AND MUST BE IN THE ON DECK AREA AND READY TO LINE UP 2 HEATS PRIOR TO THE HEAT IN WHICH THEY WILL BE COMPETING. Doing so will help to ensure that the competition runs on time, and we greatly appreciate everyone doing their part.

AWARDS

Awards for COUNTRY and BALLROOM will be announced and given to those who qualify in an OVERALL STYLE, placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. To learn how to qualify for an overall award, please click here. For those who do not qualify, individual placements and awards will be made available after the close of the session, times to be announced.

MUSIC FOR SOLO/SHOWCASE/TEAMS/SPOTLIGHT

All music must be emailed to RioGrandeDanceClassic@gmail.com by 2/11/2025. If you experience any difficulties, please send an email to allow the event directors to make proper adjustments and ensure all music gets to the DJ in a timely manner. It is also highly recommended that a copy of the music is kept with the competitor on a flash drive, and also a digital copy that can be emailed should any unforeseen issues occur.

PRO/AM AND PRO/PRO DIVISIONS

In all Pro/Am and Pro/Pro competitions for Country and Ballroom, the STUDENT competitor will be wearing the number bib.
